Samy is originally from Congo-Kinshasa, where he dedicated his life to human rights work, investigating crimes and helping others in dangerous situations. In 2019, his health suddenly began to decline. What started as extreme fatigue and high blood pressure quickly turned into a devastating kidney disease diagnosis.

For years, Samy fought for his life with limited medical resources available in Congo. In 2022, after his family was blessed with the opportunity to come to the United States, they sold everything they had and came here hoping for a second chance at life. Since arriving, Samy has continued treatment, including weekly dialysis, but after six long years of battling kidney disease, he now desperately needs a kidney transplant.

My name is Randall Donithan, and over 20 years ago I donated a kidney to a friend. I want people to know that I have lived a completely normal and healthy life with one kidney for more than two decades. Organ donation truly changes lives.

Today, we are asking for help, prayers, and shares as we search for a living kidney donor for Samy. One person could give him the chance to live fully again.
